My device doesn't have LiDAR. Can I still map my home?
Yes. On devices without LiDAR the app uses a hand-mapping mode: you mark the corners and doorways of each room yourself, starting from the front door.
My scan was interrupted. Have I lost it?
No. The app saves progress as you scan. Next time you open it you are offered three choices: resume the scan, use the rooms saved so far, or discard it. To resume, walk back into a room you have already scanned so the app can pick up where it left off.
My home is very large. How should I scan it?
Take it room by room and let each room finish before moving on. On devices with LiDAR a house with stairs can be scanned in one go: keep scanning as you walk up, and each floor gets its own plan. Without LiDAR, hand-mapping covers one floor per home.
The flow path looks wrong.
The flow is drawn from the main entrance through the doorways, so it depends on both being marked correctly. Open the review step and check that the front door is the right door and that every doorway between rooms is marked.
I don't know my birth time.
You can still get a reading. Without a birth time the chart uses three pillars — year, month and day — and the hour pillar is left out.
Why does the app ask for my sex at birth?
Only for the traditional rule that decides which direction the luck cycles run. It is optional, and it is stored on your device only.
How do I restore my purchases?
Use Restore Purchases in the app, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Feng Shui AR. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
I was charged and want a refund.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Use reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple ID that made the purchase. We have no way to issue a refund on Apple's behalf.
How do I delete my data?
Everything is stored only on your iPhone or iPad. Delete a home or a profile inside the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove all of it. We keep no copy, so it cannot be restored afterwards.
How do I change the language?
In the app's Settings. The app is available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
